Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy focuses on achieving, maintaining or restoring maximum movement, reducing pain, preventing injuries or disabilities and/or restoring function.

During physiotherapy, the disturbed functions of the patient's musculoskeletal system and other organ systems are restored using physical exercises, soft tissue therapy and physical therapy (for example, cold and heat therapy, electric therapy, etc.).

The physiotherapists of Medita Clinic are Kaie Leppik, Panainti Posmatš, Liina-Mari Roolaht and Andrei Samoldin.

Physiotherapist Kaie Leppik graduated from the University of Tartu cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and obtained a cum laude Master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2023.

At Medita Clinic, Kaie Leppik works with adult patients who need help:

  • due to the problems of the musculoskeletal system (arthrosis, epicondylopathy),
  • after emergency surgery (fractures, muscle and joint ruptures, etc.), before and after scheduled surgery (arthroscopy, arthroplasty),
  • after injuries (fractures, muscle and joint ruptures).

Kaie Leppik does not treat patients suffering from neurological and cardiological disorders, problems with pelvic floor muscles, or chronic back pain.

For the provision of physiotherapy services, Medita Clinic has a treatment financing contract with the Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa). In order to book a physiotherapy appointment paid for by the Health Insurance Fund, a referral from the family physician is required.

The price of a physiotherapy service at Medita Beauty Clinic is 60 €/1 hour.
