Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy focuses on achieving, maintaining or restoring maximum movement, reducing pain, preventing injuries or disabilities and/or restoring function.

During physiotherapy, the disturbed functions of the patient's musculoskeletal system and other organ systems are restored using physical exercises, soft tissue therapy and physical therapy (for example, cold and heat therapy, electric therapy, etc.).

Myofunctional therapy is not performed in the Medita Clinic.

We provide physiotherapy services to adult patients.

The physiotherapists of Medita Clinic are Arabella Kiting, Gregor Pruunsild, Triin Nõmmistu, Panainti Posmatš and Liina-Mari Roolaht.

Physiotherapist Triin Nõmmistu has graduated from the University of Tartu in 2006 with a degree in physiotherapy and obtained a master's degree in public health from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden in 2013, specializing in nutrition and physical activity.

Physiotherapist Nõmmistu specializes in pelvic floor physiotherapy, and welcomes adult women of various ages who have problems with urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, bowel function disorders, and diastasis. Triin Nõmmistu does not treat pelvic floor problems in men or children.

For the provision of physiotherapy services, Medita Clinic has a treatment financing contract with the Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa). In order to book a physiotherapy appointment paid for by the Health Insurance Fund, a referral from the family physician is required.

The price of a physiotherapy service at Medita Beauty Clinic is 60 €/1 hour.
